Mrs. Bridget R. Alvey, 88, of Grayson Manor and formerly of 411 S. Main, Leitchfield passed away December 28, 1983, in the Grayson County Hospital in Leitchfield. / She was born October 5, 1895, in Grayson County, the daughter of Sam and Thira Higdon and was married to Willie Alvey, who preceded her in death. / Survivors include five daughters, Della Powell and Teresa Kerr, both of Clarkson, Margaret Miller, Louisville; Wanda Mae Meredith, Bee Springs, Ky. and Lucille Kelly, Muldraugh, Ky.; one son Dave Alvey, Louisville, 36 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. / Services were held on December 30, 1983, at St. Anthony Catholic Church by Rev.
