Benjamin was the tithing man in 1714, a juryman in 1719/20, 1730, 1737 and 1738. He was elected constable on 16 Mar. 1725/6. He received a grant from the town to land on the Town Flat on 26 July 1703.

Higgins-154 and Higgins-130 appear to represent the same person because: same dates and places, same spouse
I have removed Rebecca Young Higgins as the wife of Benjamin Higgins. Rebecca Young was the wife of Zaccheus Higgins who was the son of Benjamin Higgins.
Higgins-154 and Higgins-130 are not ready to be merged because: I believe that the profile with three wives is a mixture of several men with the same name which accounts for differences in birth years.

This profile appears to be a duplicate of Higgins-154, even though that match was rejected back in 2012. The other profile is much more complete, so this one should probably be merged into that one.

This profile has dates from both the father (birthdate) and the son (death date). I am correcting the death date
