Lillian and Owen Higgins were the children of Ida Higgins and Milton Higgins. They were not yet born for the 1900 Census. In 1902, the entire family came down with Typhoid, I believe, though it could have been something different. I believe that all 3 were buried at Wates cemetery in Lauderdale county, Alabama. They both would have been very small, the younger only an infant. I think it possible they were buried together, in one coffin, but I don't know that to be a fact. I have searched for epidemics in Lauderdale county at that time and found nothing. Milton, Owen and Lillian all died of the disease. Ida was so sick that she could not attend the services for her husband and children, and, in fact, was not aware of their deaths until 2 weeks later. I believe that Owen was the oldest, but can't be certain. This was told to me by Ida's daughters, Eunice and Mildred, who were my aunt (Eunice) and grandmother (Mildred).-Laura Martin
