Biography

Ora was born on 17 Aug 1872 in Arkansas. She married James William Smith on 23 Sep 1894 in Oklahoma. He was 35, she was 16 years old.^[1]

The 1910 Census shows a large family. They were living in Stringtown, Oklahoma.^[2]:

In 1920, he was 62, she was 45, and they had two children: Ollie and Cecil (b. ca. 1914). Ollie's birth year is incorrect.^[7]

By 1940, they were living with one of their sons.^[8]

She died on 15 Oct 1956 in Chickasha, Grady, Oklahoma.
