• For birth and death I found Carrie (Higgins) Cole bible, "Alma died July 9 n- 1906 aged 48 yrs. 6.mo-.
• N.S.Vitals support 1857 for birth.
• Musquodoboit Pioneers, by Jennie Reid shows 1876 - 1900. Alma had 3 children, Bessie, Pauline, and Georgia. On the back of Georgia's photo it reads died when only 30, died 1901. Georgia's son Percy was born Sept. 7, 1894. If the date on back of the photo is correct she would have been born circa. 1870.
• Death place est. from 2nd. marriage.
• Alma married James Hawes, a Sea Captain according to Jennie Reids book. Grammy Cole-9803 writes, Alma, (Paulines mother) married to a Captain Hawes. 2 kids (Bessie and Pauline).
