Biography

Luther was born in 1797. He is the son of James Higgins.

The 1918 genealogy Richard Higgins and His Descendants gives the following children:^[1]

2. Mary Ann, b. 9 Aug 1824; m. 15 Sep 1844, Almon Dickey
3. Elizabeth A., b. 13 May 1831; m. 15 Mar 1852, John Stover
4. Caroline Jane, b. 6 Feb 1835
5. Howard Luther, b. 5 Jun 1837; m. Sarah Cushman

Children:

• Aaron G. Higgins (1820-1877) m. Clara Brookman at New York. They had only one son Frederick Higgins, who died young. Clara and son went to South Carolina but Aaron returned and was buried in Oak Grove Cemetery at Orland.
