Biography
James Higgs was born in 1856 in Spanish Wells, Bahamas to Moses Higgs and Emma Pinder.
He married Mary Jane Curry, daughter of Richard and Linna Curry, about 1878 in the Bahama Islands. They had children - among them Mary Jane "Mamie", James Jr., Euphemia, William, Verlena, Wilbert Berlin, Madeline, Charlie, and Miriam Jane Higgs. Not all of the children survived their infancies.
James passed away in 1923.
James was born in 1856. He was the son of Moses Higgs and Emms Pinder. He passed away in 1923. [1]
