Biography

James High was an Arkansan.

James Franklin High was born in 1845 in Prairie Creek, Benton County, Arkansas, son of John High and Amelia (Willison) High.[1]

James married Mahala Emaline Warren in Arkansas. Their children were:

  1. Mary Elizabeth (High) Pinegar
  2. William J. High
  3. James Thomas High
  4. John Pointer High.

James died in 1900 in Carroll County, Arkansas, United States aged ~55. He is buried in High Cemetery, Berryville, Arkansas.[2]
