- Birth: about 1848 in Texas, based on the following:
- 1) born 1849 TX, per census in 1850, age 1, "E N Highson"
- 2) born 1848 TX, per census in 1860, age 12, "Louisa Highsaw"
- 3) born 1848 TX, per census in 1870, age 22, "Missouri Hisaw"
