Between 1915 and 1920, Cora remarried to Mr. Claude Duvall North of Lancaster, Atchison County Kansas. His whereabouts after the 1920 census are unknown. The couple likely separated as Cora's social security death index lists her name as Cora Atkin.
On 24 January 1956, when she was seventy-eight, Cora died of unknown causes in Alameda County, California.
