Biography

James Samuel Higley was a son of David Higley and Rebecca (Deakin) Higley.[1][2]

Birth

He was born in Clent, Worcestershire, England and was baptised 7 October 1855 in Clent.[2][3]

Marriage

James Samuel Higley married Elizabeth Susannah Skinner 19 May 1879 in the Parish Church of St Paul, Tipton, Staffordshire.[4][5]

James Samuel Higley died 5 September 1943 at Ronkswood Hospital, Newtown Road, Worcester, Worcestershire.[11] He was 88 years of age.[12]

Probate granted 1 April 1944 to his grandson Harold Godfrey Higley.[11]
