Disputed relations/errors in print: In 1924, John Kermott Allen wrote and distributed a genealogy about George Allen of Weymouth ... Massachusetts. In profiling Ebenezer (14) Allen, the author reported his wife as, "Abigail Hill, daughter of Zebulon Hill of Gloucester."[1]

An overview of the apparent oversight in this reporting has been posted to G2G as, "Correcting errors in print about Abigail Hill, daughter of Zebulon Hill of Salem."

Another Abigail shares these parents, but has a spouse Benjamin. Likely it is conflated: Abigail (Hill) Allen (1678-1720)

Wow, how many Allen's can Abigail claim as her spouse?

Please see the 2014 G2G, Correcting errors in print about Abigail Hill, daughter of Zebulon Hill of Salem.

If there is new information or if the information in the G2G is not complete, please post so that we may collaborate further. --Gene

I think the deed that Abigail and Joseph signed for her father, Zebulon's property after his death cinches the deal. I removed the other Abigail as his daughter

Chase, you are correct. I saw the same name but did not examine the profiles carefully. My apologies.

I disagree. The evidence seems pretty clear that Abigail Hill, daughter of Zebulon Hill, married Joseph Hill and that Ebenezer Hill's wife Abigail was a different person. See bio discussion and G2G discussion referenced in the other profile.
