Biography
Mary Jane Hill was born in about 1857 in Moreleigh, Devon. She was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Hill. She was baptised 8 February 1857.
By April 7th 1861, the family were living in Gray Hills Cottage, Diptford, Devon. Elizabeth's father William Penny (so perhaps John William?) was living with them. John and his father-in-law were both slate quarriers. [1]
Mary Jane married Robert Moysey on 9 Sep 1875 in Charleton, Devon.
She died on 19 May 1925 and was buried in East Bangor Cemetery, East Bangor, Northampton, Pennsylvania.

Note N1It is rumored that Mary Jane Hill's mother's father was known as Ganfer Hill. Don't know where info came from and no verification at this time 10 Feb 1995. Death info from a card Jane Ann (Moysey) Reimer ) has in her possession.
