Biography

Michael was born on June 10, 1759 and baptized on June 10, 1759 in Sussex County, VirginiaHe was the son of Michael Hill and Mary Bell. After his father's death, James Bell became his guardian. In February 0f 1777, Michael joined the service with the consent of his guardian, James Bell and for one so young (eighteen) to have the wisdom to leave a will. He passed away in 1777 in Pennsylvania and buried there in an unmarked grave or a mass grave site. He was killed during the Revolution War. [1]
