Marie Hill was born in Finland to August Hill and Ina (Ahlgran) Hill.^[1]

She married Walter H. Jasmer on 3 June 1924 in Detroit, Michigan.^[2] Their union ended in divorce on 18 Feb 1936 at Chippewa, Michigan.^[2] There were no children from this union.^[2]
