I have removed Cumfort as his wife. I have removed Slaughter as his son. His died in 1789, the Thomas Hill who had wife Cumfort and son Slaughter died before February 1768 when his will was proven in court. I posted a link to the 1789 will in the comments here 6 months ago.

Another note about Thomas and Comfort’s children - they are most likely wrong. Highly unlikely that a woman born in 1730 was just starting to have children in 1770 and 1780. I know for a fact that Benjamin Hill’s father William was born in 1740 in Pasquotank, N.C. and not 1725 Virginia. I strongly suggest that some or all of the other children are incorrect and should be unlinked from these parents.
You are right. I just read his will and his children all appear to have been grown and the girls were all married. and had children. https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:939L-VG59?i=202&cc=1867501&cat=358717. The wrong will is attached to this profile.

Don’t know if you saw but, the profiles for Thomas and Comfort Hill’s children are currently abandoned. I’d take them but I’ve already got more than I can handle. I’m not sure which members of the family were Quakers so would you please add the Quaker sticker and Monthly Meetings Categories if known? Thanks.
Hill-28172 and Hill-1968 appear to represent the same person because: Clear duplicate
