Birth

Joseph Hill was born in North Leigh, Oxfordshire in 1853^[1]. He was the son of John Hill and Eliza (Bowerman) Hill. His baptism took place in North Leigh on 30th April 1854^[2]. His father stated on the register that he was a labourer.

Marriage
