Biography

The 1850 census states Mary is 99 years old and born in Maryland. The Pension file of her husband - she also states she is 99 years old on 8 October 1851 and a resident of Fayette county, Alabama. This conflicts with the death date of Feb 1851. According to her declaration before the officials in Fayette County she was still alive in October of 1851. According to this record she couldn't have died in February. This would also make her date of birth about 1752. She also states they were married in 1773 -which conflicts with the Marriage transcription of Wake County, NC 27 March 1781. Is the transcription wrong or Mary's recollection?
