Biography

Henry was born in 1747[1]. He is the son of Green Hill and Grace Bennett, who lived in Granville (later Bute) County, North Carolina.[2]

He was elected to fourteen one-year terms in the NC state senate (1780–95).[3]

A possible daughter is Mary “Polly” Hill Childress who had brothers Green and William Hill who lived in Raleigh NC.
