Jabez Hill was born on 17 June 1744
Baptized 1 July 1744 at Greenfield Hill, Connecticut[1]
Major Jabez Hill served with 4th Regiment, Connecticut Militia during the American Revolution.
Jabez Hill is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A055769.
Jabez, born June 17, 1744; settled in Weston, Connecticut; was Captain of a company in the Third Regiment of Light Horse, and Major in May 1777; he served in the Danbury Alarm in 1777;
Married Sarah Read, daughter of Colonel John Read, of Redding, Connecticut.
His inventory was completed on 2 June 1784.[2]
In 1796, the estate distribution was set out to the widow, John, Moses, and Sarah.[3]
