Richard Hill was born in Wendron, Cornwall, England.

Richard was born in 1859. He was the son of Richard Hill and Elizabeth Tresize. He passed away in 1913. He was buried at Stouffville, York Regional Municipality, Ontario, Canada

Bio from website Richard was a son of Richard and Elizabeth Hill. His siblings were Mary (Pearce), Elizabeth, Edward, Henry T., Harriet J., Sarah Ann, William, Eliza, Samuel John and Louisa (Pill). He married Grace Eddy on February 6, 1879 at Wendron Cornwall England. He came to Canada alone about 1880 and Grace followed a few months later with their daughter Mary Elizabeth who was born in England. They lived in Chinguacousy Township, Whitchurch and Toronto. Their children are Mary Elizabeth Eddy (Smith), Caroline Jane, Annie Emmeline (May), Mabel Sarah (Penrose), Edna Beatrice Grace (Musselman), Louisa Margarite (Rowcliffe), William Frederick, Olive Florence (Angus), Arthur Simmons, Rodger Stanley Bishop, and Richard Thomas. Richard died at only 54 years from pneumonia while living at 105 Pendrith Street in Toronto and working as a Teamster. He is buried in Pine Orchard Cemetery with his wife and
