Biography

Robert was born about 1832, probably in Ballytober, Islandmagee, County Antrim, Ireland, the son of Hugh Hill and Mary Unknown.

He passed away in 1833, probably in Ballytober, Islandmagee. He is interred in Ballypriormore Graveyard, Islandmagee.[1]

    Erected by Mary Hill of Ballytober in memory of her husband Hugh Hill who departed this life 14th Feb. 1868 aged 74 years. Also their son Robert Hill who departed this life 24th March 1833 aged 8 months. Also the above Mary Hill who departed this life 27th Jany. 1873 aged 80 years. Also their daughter-in-law Catherine Hill, the beloved wife of Hugh Hill, who died 7th July 1901 aged 58 years. And Hugh Hill the beloved husband of Catherine Hill, who died 24th Dec. 1906 aged 78 years. Also Catherin MILLIKEN, daughter of the last named, who died 27th February 1937 aged 56 years.
