Mrs. Elmo E. Dunavin, formerly Miss Martha Hill of Rock Island, passed away at the home, 814 Twelfth street at 12:30 p.m. yesterday after a few days' sickness. The cause of her death was ureamic poisoning. Mrs. Dunavin was 28 years old and was born and raised in Rock Island. She was one of the most popular young ladies of the city and her winning disposition and lovable ways had won her a host of friends who will mourn her death. She was educated in the public schools of the city, graduating from the high school and for a couple of years taught school.
She is survived by her husband and one son, two years old, besides her mother, three brothers, Arthur, William and Ted and two sisters, Mrs. Phil Wilcher of this city and Miss Laura Hill.
The funeral will be held on Thursday morning and will be private. Friends are requested not to send flowers.
