Mrs. James Chubb Dead

Former Resident, Wife of the Late James Chubb, Expired May 8.

Henry I. Chubb returned last night from Copemish, Mich., where he attended the funeral of Mrs. Elizabeth Chubb, wife of the late James Chubb, his brother. The funeral was held Sunday. Mrs. Chubb died Thursday, May 8, in Longcliff Asylum, Logansport, where she had been a patient for 25 or more years. She is survived by two children, Addie BeGole of Detroit, and Albert Chubb of Grand Rapids. Mrs. BeGole accompanied the body of her mother from Logansport to Copemish. The husband of the deceased was for many years a valued employee of the Michigan Central, occupying positions of official authority, his death occurring last summer. His remains are also interred at Copemish. James Chubb and family were residents of Michigan City at the time Mrs. Chubb became hopelessly insane.
