Nathan was born in 1842. He is the son of Ezekiel Hilliard and Sallie Phillips.

Nathan married Catherine"Bettie" Elkins,Nov.29,1863,Chatham,North Carolina.[2]

He passed away , Aug.11,1911,Chatham,North Carolina.[3]
