Moses Hills II fought in the Revolutionary War as a boy of 16 in 1776. Moses moved with his family to Chautauqua. Co. western New York State and settled on a farm near Mayville, N. Y. in 1820, one year before his death. Perhaps he was the one who changed the family name to Hill. Record of his children's births could not be found in Concord, N.H. Perhaps it is preserved in the records for western New York State.
