Biography

Alfred was born in 1842^[1] He was the son of Edmund Hills Jane Bellingham He was chistened 12th March 1843 in Sevenoaks, Kent, England^[2] He was living with his parents and siblings in Sevenoaks, Kent, England in 1851^[3] He was living with his aunt and uncle in Minster, Kent, England and he was working as a general labourer in 1861^[4] He married Lucy Preston 22nd July 1865 in Minster in Sheppey, Kent, England^[5]He was living with his wife and 2 sons in Lambeth, London,Surrey, England and he was working as a carpenter in 1871^[6] He was living with his wife and his 6 children in Warner Road, Lambeth, London,Surrey, England and he was working as a builder in 1881^[7] He was still living with his wife and 6 children this time at Lowth Road, Lambeth, London, surrey, England and he was still working as a builder in 1891^[8] He was living with his wife and 3 of his children at Coldharbour Lane, Lambeth, London, Middlesex, England and he was working as a builders carpenter joiner in 1901^[9] He was living with his son Philip, daughter in law and grandchildren in Basingstoke, Basingstoke, Hampshire, England and he was still employed as a builder in 1911^[10] He passed away in 1919^[11]
