Julia was born on the 29th July 1879^[1][2] at Elm, Cambridgeshire, England^[3][4] the daughter of William Hills^[3] and Elizabeth Hills.

By 1891, Julia's parents had moved from Elm to Great Abington, Cambridgeshire, England. Julia may have been staying with extended family or working in service and unrecorded in the 1891 census.

On the 6th February 1904, Julia Hills, 24, spinster of 52 Victoria Park, Cambridge, daughter of William Hills (gardener), married Joseph Jennings, 26, bachelor, farmer, of Little Shelford, son of Charles Jennings (farmer), at St. Luke, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire^{[5] [6]}

On the 19th June 1921, Julia, Joseph and children Florence Violet and Hubert William were living at Duxford, Cambridgeshire, England^[7]

In 1939, Julia was living at The Manor Cottage, Fulbourne, Cambridgeshire, England with her husband Joseph and one probable child redacted^[2]

Julia's husband Joseph died aged 85 years in 1963^[8] probably at Trumpington, Cambridgeshire, England and was buried on the 18th March 1963 at St. Mary & St. Michael, Trumpington, Cambridgeshire, England^[9]

In 1965, Julia was living at 19 Shelford Road, Trumpington, Cambridgeshire, England^[10].

Julia died on the 31st January 1965^[10] probably at Trumpington, Cambridgeshire, England and was also buried at St. Mary & St. Michael, Trumpington, Cambridgeshire, England on the 4th February 1965^[11]
