Biography
Death Notice: Mr. Lathrop L. Hills, brother of Milton Hills of Nunda was murdered on the plains recently by the Indians. The deceased was Division Engineer on the Union Pacific Railroad. When his body was found, 19 arrows were found and five pistol balls were lodged in his body Cattaraugus Republican Newspaper - July 25, 1867 (The above information is from findagrave member 1414Jan #48003845)
