Emiily Louisa French Hills was born before 19 Jun 1862 as she was baptised on that date at Saint Mary, Littlehampton, Sussex[1]. Her parents were Edward Holland Hills (1831) and Louisa French (1834).
In the 1871 Census Emily was living with her Grand Father at High Street, Littlehampton, East Preston, Sussex[2].
