Married Lodamy Humphrey, daughter of Captain Jonathan Humphrey & Deziah Owen on November 3, 1779, her second marriage, died May 10, 1838 at Granby, Connecticut at age 83; he and Lodamy Humphrey were buried at Granby Center Cemetery, Granby, Connecticut. It’s possible however not proven that Theodore had a Twin sister, Theodora who married James Lewis?

It is likely that two different men have conflated information on this profile and possibly on DAR Ancestor A056400[1] The vital statistics on this profile are compatible with Theodore Hillyer's Pension Application S. 37104[2] We have used the affidavits from the pension application in the 1776 Sticker above. DAR Ancestor A056400 has similar data but the birth/death dates are different from the information in the pension application and on this profile. Military service is also different, but the rank and spouse name given are similar.
