Biography
Ralph (d.s.p), is the fourth son of William Hilton, esq. of Biddick (b. abt. 1508 - d. abt. 1562) and Margaret Metcalfe.
He is mentioned in the will of John Crawfurthe, Second Predendary of the first stall in Durham, dated 04 January 1561. Crawfurthe calls him, "Rauffe Hilton my goodsone," and refers to Ralph's father as, "Mr. William Hilton."
Ralph was also an executor of his mother's will, dated 04 June 1566.
