Biography
Charles Hind was born in Lincolnshire, England.
Charles was born on 20 Mar 1904, to George James Hind and Beatrice Charlotte (Kedge) Askew . Charles married Hilda Martha (Matthews) Hind on 26 Dec 1928 and had three children June (Hind) Gibbon (b 17.6.1930), Peter Charles Hind (b 5.1.1932 - ) and Robert Arnold Hind (b 22.12.1933 – d ). Charles worked as an electrical engineer at Ransome & Marles Bearing Company in Newark, which was a reserved occupation during WW2. He passed away on 12 Apr 1994 in Newark.[1]
Birth of Charles Percy Hind in 1904 Jan quarter in Lincoln.[2] Charles was christened in Lincoln on 24 July 1905.[3]
At the time of the 1911 England census Charles was 7, attending school and living at 7 Albion Place, Monson? Street, Lincoln, with his widowed mother and siblings Malvina, Joel, George, Gertrude.[4]
Charles and Hilda married at Boultham, Lincolnshire, England, United Kingdom on 26 Dec 1929.[5]
