Biography
Betty (Hindmarsh) Stephenson was born in Northumberland, England.
Elizabeth was born in 1779. She was the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Hindmarsh. She was christened on 25 July 1779, Newburn, Northumberland.[1]
Elizabeth married George Stephenson on 29 March 1820 at Newburn, Northumberland. Witnesses were Thomas Hindmarsh and Robert Stephenson.[2][3] There were no children.
Elizabeth passed away in 1846.[4] She was buried on 8 August 1846 at Holy Trinity, Chesterfield, Derbyshire.[5]
