William was born October 3, 1856 in Roane County, Tennessee. He was the son of William Charles Hinds and Mary Hickey.
On November 12, 1877 he married Sarah M. Woodruff in White County, Tennessee. [1]
He passed away April 19, 1926 in Rockwood, Roane County, Tennessee. [2] William was laid to rest in Glen Alice Cemetery, Glen Alice, Roane County, Tennessee, United States. [3]
