Carolyn Rayment-Erickson knew Ruby and Louis and their daughters. She was a teenager and the girls were little kids. When they came to visit she was tasked with "watching the kids".
When Ruby and Louis lived in Neah Bay, Louis worked long hard hours at Crown V. and had a temper. He loved salmon fishing.
In Dec 1940/41 Bowman Creek flooded and Ruby and Louis got flooded out of their home. They then moved to Port Angeles.
Ruby was a very fun person. She was always laughing. She liked to sing. One song that she loved to sing was "I'm a Little White Duck" by Burle Ives. She sang loud and really got into it.
