Simeon Hinds. m. 1769 Sarah--Children-Simeon II, Stephen, Joseph, John, Nancy & Sarah "Sally" HINDS from RootsWeb.com (Vertical file in McClung Collection says he was a Revolutionary soldier) Simeon Hinds was killed at the Battle of Guilford Court House, NC during the Revolutionary War, while serving under his brother, Captain John Hinds . (Vertical file in McClung Collection shows additional child W D,. It also shows Joseph's middle name as Rolland. It also has this Simeon's marriage date as 1760.

How confident are you of his marriage in 1869 to Sarah Hand? She married William Throop in 1767 and I couldn't find sources to support a marriage in 1769.
