Biography
Willie was born in 1867. Note that in the 1870 census, She is listed as William, a male. Was this a mistake by the census taker or was her gender ambiguous when she was young? [1] She married Alonzo Allen and they had a son, Henry Virgil, in 1887. Willie and Alonzo divorced. Alonzo is listed as divorced in the 1900 census. Willie and Henry's 1900 census record has not been located. They may have been missed or Willie may have remarried and they are listed under another name. Henry's last name is Allen in the 1910 census.
