Biography
Henry was born about 1845 in Caribou Cove, Nova Scotia. [Note: His last name is variously spelled Hines, Hinds, Hynes, Hynds).
In 1871, the Census gives his age as 27 and his occupation as seaman. He is living in the household of his parents, Henry and Catherine.
He married Margaret Jane Whalen about 1887, before the birth of their daughter Elizabeth Catherine in 1888. Their children are: (Hines)
