Joseph James Hines was born in Bairnsdale in 1889. He was the son of Joseph Hines and his wife Sarah Alice Owen. [1]
Joseph enlisted in the A.I.F. In 1915 and was discharged in 1919. He served in France.[2]
He died in Hampton Victoria in 1961[3] * His birth place was recorded Daylesford. [4]
