She was 85 years, 4 months and 25 days of age, and had made her home with her son, Thomas, for 18 years. Twenty grandchildren and thirty-five great-grandchildren also survive her.
She was converted when 31 years old and lived a consistent Christian life for 57 years, and in her last hours said all was sunshine and were spent in praise of her Creator. She was the daughter of Christopher and Sarah Hinkle long since passed away. Many friends will regret the departure of the fine old lady.
Jacob, her son of Putnam County, West Virginia, received the news of her death late and by walking the whole distance, 30 miles and through the entire night, arrived just about one hour before the funeral services.
