Elizabeth Hinkle the daughter of George Rudolph Hinckle & Achsah or Barbara Plummer who married Jan. 1755 monthly meeting of the Frederick Co. Virginia Quakers. The couple had 6 daughters and 2 sons. George Hinckle was born New Hanover, PA 1734 and died 1803 Cumberland Allegany Co. MD.

Elizabeth married William Drake Sr. of Bucks County, Pennsylvania who moved to Allegany Co. MD before 1780 when they married, Frederick Co. MD. the union produced 3 sons and 4 daughters, the family purchased land of Cumberland Allegany Co. MD. where George Hinckle built a blockhouse for protection, her two sisters married two of Wiliam's younger brothers.

The 1830 US Census, Elizabeth living next to her brother George Hinkle and her son Edward Drake; over the age of 70, born before 1760 and death after 1830. Edward Drake married Verlinda Beall 1824, the union produced many children.
