Abner was my 2nd cousin, twice removed through Christopher Hinkle, 1777-1861.

I found a direct lineal descendant of Christopher Hinkle, my 3rd great-grandfather, and sponsored his Y67-DNA and Family Finder tests on FTDNA.

I've received many matches, the most recent being to a Philip Hinkel b. 1724 d. 1793 at a genetic distance of 2 but I'm not sure what that means.

Still no luck in finding Christopher ' s parents. Please feel free to contact me anytime.
