Margaret was born about 1807, in Nova Scotia. We have documentation of her marriage in February 1826, which led to an estimate of birth in 1807, meaning she would have married at age 18 or 19.
The censuses of 1871 & 1881 list her as 60 & 70 years old respectively, which would mean she was born in about 1811, while that, in turn, would have her marrying around age 15 or 16. The latter is possible, but it seems more likely that her age was "rounded down" in the census reports.
Interestingly, both the 1871 & 1881 census give her ethnicity as "German."
She & Joseph Hutchins had 6 daughters & 3 sons, and lived in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
By the time of the 1861 census, she was already widowed, and her household (in Halifax's Ward 4) contained 7 females & 3 males (not other data provided in the census report).
Information about her death has not been located. The 1891 census manuscripts are largely an illegible mess, so it was impossible to locate her in the online digital images of those documents, even if she were there, and a digital search of Nova Scotia Vital Statistics did not yield no data about her passing.
