Ira Wheeler Hinkley, son of Wheeler Hinkley and Ruth E. (Cannon) Hinkley, was born on 13 Dec. 1879 in Fremont Center, Delaware County, New York.[1][2] He was a laborer at a chemical works when he appeared on the census of 29 June 1900 in the home of his parents at Colchester, Delaware County, New York.[3]
He married Olive M. Signor, daughter of Elliott Sebastian Signor and Julia R. (Baxter) Signor, on 18 Aug. 1909 at Downsville, Delaware County, New York.[1]
He was a laborer in an acid factory when he and Olive appeared on the census of 21 April 1910 at Hancock, Delaware County, New York.[4] He and Olive appeared on the census of 16 April 1930 at Hamden, Delaware County, New York.[5]
Ira died on 18 Dec. 1941 in Kings County, New York.[6]
