Hi Scott,

I work on the Notables Project so I am in contact with a lot of them. It is always fun to check to see if there is a relationship. When you make a connection, it makes you feel like somebody, doesn’t it? Lol.

Anyway, nice to meet you cousin. Keep checking those relationships!

My sister does not believe we are connected to Henry. I am doubtful myself...!

Walter (Burgh) de Burgh is your 24th great grandfather. He is also Henry's ninth great grandfather. You also share 63 common ancestors between you and Henry VIII within 30 generations. Let your sister know you are definitely related to Henry.
Wow! I'm a bit overwhelmed with the idea.

does the39 degrees mean we are connected do not know what it means
Hi Elizabeth!

Yes the 39 degrees means our lines have crossed somewhere in the past, probably in Ireland or England. How far back have you gone with tracing your line? Can you connect yourself to Henry the VIII or King Edward?
