Biography

Martha was born in 1875. She was the daughter of Thomas Hinshaw and Sarah Keller.

She married William D. Davis, Feb 23 1891, New Madrid County, Missouri. William, son of Isaac B. Davis, was born Aug 10 1869 [Aug - 1871], Obion County, Tennessee. William was the brother of Martha's step-mother Malinda A. Davis.

Their children are:

  1. Pearl Marie Davis; 1909 - 1920 died of diptheria, Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
  2. Arthur Leonard Davis, b. Sep 11 1898, Pemiscot County, Missouri; d. 1947.
  3. George William Davis, b. May 24 1906; d. Oct - 1954; married Gladys Elizabeth Allen April 20, 1940.
  4. Mildred Jane Davis, b. Mar 11 1912; d. Apr 1 1969; married Jun 25 1933, Harold Edward Collard.
