Biography

Sherman Makepeace Hinshaw was born 26 May 1865, North Carolina. He was the son of Milton Hinshaw and Elizabeth Newman.

He married Ida Victoria Faulkner, Jun 11 1882. Ida, daughter of Julian/Julius Faulkner and Mary Shaw, was born May 20 1864, Guilford County, North Carolina. Ida had been Sherman's next door neighbor as they grew up. To this union were born:
