Born 7-31-1838, Duck Creek MM, Henry County, Indiana.

Nathan was shown in the 1860 census (Aug 15 1860), living in the household of brother Quinton in Greensboro, Henry County, Indiana:

New Salem MM, on 25 Feb 1865, recorded "Nathan married contrary to discipline; Duck Creek MM asked to treat with him; Duck Creek MM reported him to be beyond their limits".

Duck Creek MM, on 23 March 1865, recorded "Nathan Hinshaw - New Salem MM requested Duck Creek to treat with him for marrying contrary to discipline. 22 June 1865 Duck Creek reports he is not in the limits of this meeting & New Salem MM so informed."
