She was preceded in death by her husband, James Carlos Brasfield; daughter, Sandra Luckey; and parents, Grady & Clara Hinson.
She is survived by her children, Donna (Steve) Thomas, Judy (Charles) McCollum, Debbie (Randy) Humphreys, & Carla (Monte) Jones; sister, Virginia Fields; 10 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren.
